YOGA is an ancient discipline created by the Indian sage Patanjali approximately 2,000 years ago. The word YOGA comes from the sanskrit word "yuj" which means to yoke or bind, and is described as the "union" of the body and mind. YOGA is a practice of self-transformation beginning with the physical body, and then the mental and emotional bodies. YOGA will increase strength, flexibility, and balance and decrease stress and tension. There are various styles and levels and is therefore suitable for anyBODY.
